Access codes for VAG ECUs

Common codes for security access and login on VW, Audi, SEAT, and Škoda—sorted by ECU, from the engine and ABS to the instrument cluster.

You enter these codes via the Security access function (KWP2000, UDS) or the Login / Coding II function (on KWP1281 this function is called “Login”, on KWP2000 “Coding II”). They don't apply to every ECU version—if label data is available, CarPort shows the matching access levels directly in the selection list. ECUs with SFD (from about 2020) no longer use static codes.

⚠️ Caution: After an incorrect code, the ECU blocks further attempts for a certain time—see Behavior after an incorrect entry.

01 – Engine Control Module (ECM)

Modifying EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) values
