No. All purchase editions of CarPort are licenses that you buy once and can use indefinitely. There are no recurring costs.

When you purchase a license, all updates released within one year of the purchase date are included for free. After that, you can continue using the software with the last available version indefinitely, or optionally purchase a discounted update extension.

The update extension currently costs: STARTER €4.95 / STANDARD €19.95 / PRO €44.95.
This gives you one year of free updates from the activation of the update license.

No. Your purchased edition remains usable indefinitely. Without an update extension, you can continue using CarPort permanently with the last available version.

A CarPort license is valid for use by one person on up to two different computers. For example, you can use CarPort on your desktop PC in the workshop and on your laptop while on the go.

Your CarPort license is not tied to a specific vehicle. You can use the software for diagnostics on all supported vehicles of the VAG group without any additional costs.

Yes. An upgrade to a higher edition is possible at any time. The upgrade license costs exactly the price difference between the editions and includes one year of free updates from the purchase date.
